All infertility work-up can be done at Hallmark Medicals. With appropriate communication and timing, both male and female infertility evaluation can be completed and treatment plan drawn on the same day.

Male Partner Investigations

Semen Analysis

Semen Analysis is the most important male investigation, and a normal result will suffice. When abnormal results such as severe oligospermia or azoospermia are observed, the appropriate hormonal assays are carried out to ascertain the cause. When necessary our seasoned urologist will perform further evaluations.

Hallmark Medicals has a very descent facility for Semen Collection on site and we encourage our clients to produce their samples on site. However, men who are uncomfortable producing samples on site have the option to do so in the comfort of their homes if they live near-by or from near-by guest houses provided steps are taken to keep samples so produced under optimum environmental conditions.

The samples must reach Hallmark Medicals within an hour after  production while our embryologists stand – by.

Female Partner Investigations

Evaluation of Reproductive Anatomy

Trans-vaginal ultrasound is our standard mode of evaluating the female pelvis for such abnormalities as uterine fibroids, endometrial polyps, adenomyosis diminished ovarian reserve, polycystic ovaries, ovarian cysts and endometriomas.

Evaluation of Ovarian Function

Our well calibrated and quality-controlled laboratory provides reliable hormonal assay results on tests of ovarian function such as mid – luteal progesterone, early follicular phase serum FSH, LH and estradiol or prolactin and thyroid function tests (TSH with free T4).

Tubal Patency Tests

We provide the gold – standard tubal evaluation using our state-of-the-art
endoscopy tower. We also provide recorded reports to our patients for second opinion reviews. The women with uncomplicated history are evaluated using Saline Infusion Sonohysterosalpingography (SIS) or Hysterosalpingogram (HSG).

Our recommendations for treatment options are based on international best practice.
Female partner age, duration of infertility and time to diminished ovarian reserve are
very important determining factors.
